Matt and Jordan's Undercover Proposal in Key West
When you’re getting ready to ask the love of your life to marry you, what better place than with the clear blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean behind you?
Such was the scene when Matt and Jordan got engaged at Fort Zachary Taylor State Park recently in Key West, Florida. I attended as the “photographer in waiting”, hiding in the bushes and waiting for the moment to unfold.
When it did, it was clear that Jordan was over the moon with excitement and very surprised! She was so happy and of course, she said “yes!”.
I loved seeing her expression and watching the happy moment take place. This was still while she was unaware that she was being photographed, which is always special for me, because you know that it is the most genuine expression.
After that, we took a few minutes to grab some beautiful portraits of the couple on the beach, as they celebrated and relished in the big moment of just getting engaged!
As the two strolled down the beach, their happiness radiated as they soaked up the warm sunshine of the Florida Keys, hand in hand, absorbing what had just taken place on the sandy shores of a Key West beach.
A few moments to grab some impromptu engagement photos was especially sweet, as the warm “golden hour” sunlight gave them a beautiful glow in the afternoon sun.
The afternoon closed with a final snuggle and a smooth for the camera, as Matt and Jordan ventured to start this next adventure in life. Congratulations to the happy couple!
