My Key West Photography Studio

Welcome to the studio!

Located in the convenient downtown area of Key West, my studio space is not only walking distance to so many great places to shoot and sight-see, but it’s one of my favorite places to be when I’m working behind the scenes and meeting with clients.

So, I wanted to show it off a bit and take you for a little tour. While I clearly also shoot weddings and do lots of work on location, my studio is where I meet before events, shoot headshots, studio-style family portraits, women’s portraits, and where projects like magazine spreads, video interviews, and other creative projects come together. Enjoy!

How to Get Here

No, Really…You’re Gonna Want This Part….

Because we are situated at the end of two dead ends, and one of those dead ends leads you through the Truman Annex neighborhood that has lots of side streets that end in locked gates, GPS’s sometimes get a little confused when trying to get you here.

But! I have found that if you use “Margaritaville Resort” as your GPS entry, it’s much smoother sailing, as there is only one way to get to THAT address. Then from there it’s just another 20 second drive to us.

Here’s what to look for (enjoy my lovely Google Map scribbles!)

Once you see Margaritaville Resort, you’ll have turned left at Greene St, but your GPS will tell you you’re on Sunset Lane. 🤦🏼‍♀️ (But ask any local where “Sunset Lane” is, and you’ll probably get a blank stare).

Regardless, you will be at the intersection of the pedestrian-only section of Front St, where you’ll see the big beautiful Customs House:

As you turn left, you’ll now be heading down the continuation of Front St (cars allowed)

You’ll pass the hotel:

You’ll pass the parking garage immediately next to the hotel:

And the road will make a sharp right turn.  As you’re making the turn, you’ll see a big red brick building behind lush foliage on your left, with a small sign - green with tan lettering - that says “Building 21”.

Continue around the turn and behind the building you’ll see a small parking lot.

If there are open spots that don’t say Reserved (only 2 are reserved), you’re welcome to park there for free.

(If it’s full, you can use the parking garage as a backup)

Once you’re parked, take the sidewalk to walk around to the front of the building.

You’ll pass through the wrought iron gates, past the fountain, through the wood double doors, and into the colorful foyer pictured at the top of this page.

Once in, go past the elevators, turn right down the hall, and I’m Suite 108, a few doors down on the left.
