Christina and James | Southernmost Beach Resort

When a couple love cooking together and watching British Bake Off, you’ve got the perfect “recipe” for a great match! Christina and James soon realized they also loved playing board games, going for walks, and dancing together…so much so that they danced their way all the way to Key West where they got married at the Southernmost Beach Resort!

The day began at the local Eden House historic hotel in downtown Key West, where Christina was getting ready and James was hanging out with the guys. After some fun photos with the girls, Christina headed down to see James for their First Look before heading over on the Old Town Trolley to their ceremony location at Southernmost Beach Resort. The weather and settings were perfect as the couple exchanged their vows and rings, officiated by their family friend who did a fantastic job leading the ceremony. Afterwards it was time to hit the beach where their tent was set up for the reception, and we captured family group portraits as the sun set over the horizon. The evening continued with dinner and dancing, wrapping up with a lovely three tiered cake which the couple cut to celebrate their big day!

Following a tour of the best photo spots around the area, including the Welcome to Key West postcard mural, the Red Doors, the Flagler Railroad Museum, the Turtle museum, Dockmaster building, and the colorful pink Harpoon Harry’s building, we circled back to where the couple’s guests were ready to head to their luncheon reception and enjoy the rest of the day together!

Congratulations Ashley and Alex! I wish you many happy years and a lifelong of continued adventures and memories!
