The day started at Havana Cabana Resort, an old Cuba-themed hotel brimming with character. The anticipation and excitement were palpable as the couple prepared for their big day.Kerri and Raymond got ready in separate gorgeous suites, where I had the chance to capture some intimate moments and stunning portraits of the bride in her long wedding train. The grand staircase on the property provided the perfect backdrops for some truly special photos both with the bride and her girls. And the classic car was a handsome accent for the groom’s portraits as he headed to the reception.

In a unique twist, guests were treated to a pre-ceremony cocktail hour. They rode to the venue in a beach-themed bus, setting the tone for a fun and relaxed celebration. Kerri then headed to the ceremony, meeting up with planner Jackie Gibson at First Flight Brewery. This venue, formerly known as Kelly’s and started by Kelly McGillis of Top Gun fame, has a rich history. It was the site of the first-ever airline to fly to Key West, Pan Am. The ceremony took place on the charming brick patio, surrounded by family and friends.

Adding a fun twist, the bridal party handed out miniature tequila bottles as wedding favors, which were a huge hit with the guests. The groom’s daughter served as maid of honor, and their good friend, who is also a pastor, officiated the ceremony, complete with his signature cowboy hat and boots. The love and camaraderie among everyone were heartwarming, making for a beautiful and personal ceremony.

After the ceremony, we headed across the street to Truman Annex for some lively group photos with the bridal party. The bridesmaids and groomsmen were an absolute hoot, bringing so much energy and fun to the photos. Their laughter and playful antics made for some fantastic shots, capturing the joy and excitement of the day.

Back at First Flight Brewery, Kerri and Raymond were introduced into their reception, with DJ Nick Morse keeping the energy high as emcee for the evening. The couple shared their first dance, and heartfelt toasts followed, bringing tears and laughter in equal measure. As the night went on, everyone hit the dance floor, celebrating and dancing the night away.

Kerri and Raymond’s wedding was a vibrant and joyous celebration from start to finish. It was an honor to capture the love, laughter, and unique touches that made their day so special. As the night drew to a close, I couldn’t help but feel grateful to have been part of such a memorable and love-filled celebration. Congratulations to the happy couple and here’s to many more to come!
